Ripper Museum Diversity Champion Purged

Self proclaimed corporate diversity champion Mark Palmer-Edgecumbe has been purged from at least three diversity web sites, presumably for his diversification into monetizing the murder of working class women with his soon to be opened Jack The Ripper Museum.

At the time of writing his Linkedin profile still has Palmer-Edgecumbe listed as CEO of the Global Diversity List and Chairman of the Board of Trustees at The Inclusive Foundation. However, over the last few days he has been removed from their web sites. His profile as a judge has also been removed from the European Diversity Awards web site.

Perhaps this is more effort from Linda Riley to distance herself from Palmer-Edgecumbe. Riley is a trustee/board/panelist alongside Palmer-Edgecumbe for all the entities mentioned above. Riley was until last November also a trustee of Eaves a charity whose mission is to “expose and address violence against women and girls”.

Riley and Palmer-Edgecumbe shared directorships on two now dissolved companies, the Museum Of Jack The Ripper Limited and Jack The Ripper Museum Limited. Riley is not a director in the latest incarnation. However, the WHOIS record shows Riley still retains an interest, owning the museum’s live web site domain, jacktherippermuseum.com.

Update 19th Aug 2015

Riley also owns the domain name jacktherippermuseum.org. This is was last registered in July 2015 to her company Square Peg Media using 12 Cable Street, the address of the ripper museum, as the registration address.

Update 2 20th Aug 2015

Riley is listed as the client on a Ripper museum planning permission application document submitted to Tower Hamlets in July. The application is in consultation, i.e. open for objections, until 3rd September 2015. Original document not loading but Riley is also listed as client on planning document here.

Update 3 14th April 2016

Riley is appointed Labour’s Business Diversity Officer!
